Meiyi made me think about jie di lian today. Let me first say y im QUITE against it.

Imagine im a 17 year old poly year 1 & my gf is 18rs old J2. Due to poly and NS, IF i ever enter university year 1, she would already haf graduated and maybe on her way to working le. So actually... to me, maybe is more or less sth like a pride thing. Cos she will already haf work for 4 years when u graduate. If Singapore dun haf this system... maybe i wouldn't even be against jie di lian. Although maybe the same age or 1 year younger may also haf this problem... but i dunno 4 years just seem like a big gap ya know.

However if i'm able to put aside my pride and if the girl do not mind, y not right? I thought many girls would mind but it seems like some of my frens dun actually mind haha.

Conclusion: im not as against as it is in the past le... but 1 or 2 years older only.. HAHA
